Dr. McGarry uniquely combines extensive experience:

as a published/funded scientist (see selected REFERENCES) using multiple species in conventional, containment and barrier applications;
- as a collaborator/contract research Project Director for intra- and extramural studies in cancer therapeutics, cardiovascular disease, immunology, radiobiology and gene therapy;

having developed and managed 2 major Lab Animal Resource programs (RPCIC and ASU) including concept/design, construction oversight and commissioning of 4 new care and use facilities (40k nsf, 34k nsf, 14k nsf and 3.2k nsf) including ABSL.3 suites in the 2 larger facilities, recruitment and training of staff and fiscal administration.
